Abstract | To provide a tape for an air bag with which the airtightness of an air bag to which the tape is applied is improved, and a method of manufacturing a tape for an air bag.SOLUTION: A tape 10 for an air bag includes a hot melt layer 11, and a first base material 12 supporting the hot melt layer 11. The hot melt layer 11 is welded on a nylon base cloth to cover a plurality of seams exposed on an outer surface of the base cloth. The hot melt layer 11 is formed of polyamide or polyolefin. A peel strength between the hot melt layer 11 and the first base material 12 is 1 N/cm or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
