Summary:To improve sensitivity of a high frequency coil when magnetic field intensity of a static magnetic field spatially changes.SOLUTION: A magnetic resonance imaging device according to an embodiment includes: a static magnetic field magnet, a high frequency coil, and a control unit. The static magnetic field magnet generates a static magnetic field having a magnetic field intensity which changes spatially. The high frequency coil transmits high frequency pulses to an analyte placed in the static magnetic field having the magnetic field intensity which changes spatially, and receives a nuclear-magnetic resonance signal generated by the analyte due to an effect of the high frequency pulses.
