Abstract | To provide a personal care formulation that exhibits excellent elongation, feel, and good adhesion to the skin, and causes less makeup collapse, a reduction in soft focus effect that creates uneven skin tones, and a reduction in appearance of uneven skin texture, such as pores and wrinkles.SOLUTION: Provided is a personal care formulation comprising silica particles. The silica particles comprising repeating units of (SiO4/2). The silica particles have a D90/D10 particle size distribution of about 1.3 or less as determined by a particle size analyzer utilizing a laser diffraction particle size analysis. The silica particles are spherical and have a sphericity greater than or equal to 0.9, defined as minor axis/major axis.SELECTED DRAWING: None
