Abstract To provide a communication system that can minimize time difference between signals transmitted from a master to a plurality of slaves connected in a daisy chain.SOLUTION: A control unit 6 and each drive section 11 connected in a daisy chain each include isolated communication circuits 13 and 14. When the control unit 6 measures a communication delay time between the control unit 6 and each drive section 11, based on a response time for transmission of a pulse signal to each drive section 11 in a measurement period, the control unit transmits a shift time for equalizing timings of signals output by the respective drive sections to the respective drive sections 11 based on each communication delay time.
