To provide a signature guide of a gathering machine capable of preventing interference with an adjacent guide body in a conveying direction and neatly arranging signatures on a table in a state where the size of the table is utilized to the utmost extent.SOLUTION: A signature guide body 50 comprises: a cylindrical part 51 held by a holder 110 attached to a gathering machine 100 at two places on a conveyance passage 10 of a table 30 and abutted against both ends of a signature C to be used for setting the stacking position of the signature C and extending in the stacking direction of the signature C; and a circular-arc part 52 having a part of the cylindrical part 51 cut off in a peripheral direction within at least the required height range from a lower end 51A of the cylindrical part 51. The same peripheral place of the cylindrical part 51 and the circular-arc part 52 forms an abutment 53 against the signature C in a height direction. Within the required height range of the cylindrical part 51 from a formation tail end 52C of the circular-arc part 52, a plug member 54 having a holder withdrawal part 55 from which the holder 110 can be withdrawn and positioned on the same straight line as that of the center axis of the cylindrical part 51 is buried.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】搬送方向において隣接するガイド体との干渉を防ぎ、載置台のサイズを最大限活かした状態で折丁を載置台に整然と載置することが可能な丁合機の折丁ガイドを提供すること。【解決手段】載置台３０の搬送通路１０に沿った２箇所で丁合機１００に取り付けられた保持体１１０によって保持され折丁Ｃの両端縁に当接して折丁Ｃの積み重ね位置を位置決めするために用いられ、折丁Ｃの積み重ね方向に延びる筒部５１と、少なくとも筒部５１の下端部５１Ａから所要高さ範囲において筒部５１の周方向の一部が切除された円弧部５２とを有し、筒部５１および円弧部５２の周方向同一箇所が高さ方向に沿って折丁Ｃとの当接部５３をなし、円弧部５２の形成終端部５２Ｃから筒部５１の所要高さ範囲には、筒部５１の中心軸線と同一直線上に位置し保持体１１０が挿抜可能な保持体挿抜部５５を有する栓部材５４が埋設されていることを特徴とする折丁ガイド体５０である。【選択図】図２
