Abstract | To detect biological information such as a heartbeat and respiration of a subject reliably and stably without imposing a burden on the subject.SOLUTION: A biological information monitoring device includes: an antenna device consisting of at least one antenna disposed close to a subject; a signal generation part for generating a high frequency signal; and a displacement detection part for detecting physical displacement of the subject using the high frequency signal. The antenna includes a dipole antenna, in the center of which an electric power supply part for supplying the high frequency signal is provided, a coaxial line for supplying the high frequency signal to the electric power supply part, and a conductor element of 1/4 wavelength, one end of which is short-circuited to an external conductor of the coaxial line.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 16
