Summary:To provide a method of manufacturing an electrode capable of suppressing generation of cracks and wrinkles at irregular intervals by improving followability of a coating film to an electrode current collector.SOLUTION: A method of manufacturing an electrode includes the following steps of: preparing a wet powder formed from agglomerated particles at least containing an electrode active material, a binder resin, and a solvent; depositing a coating film (32) formed of the wet powder on an electrode current collector (12) while leaving a gas phase of the coating film by using the wet powder so that an average film thickness of the coating film becomes equal to or more than 50 μm; transporting the coating film on the current collector and transcribing unevenness by using a roll to form at least one groove (22) extending in a transportation direction at the center of a surface part of the coating film so that a depth of the groove satisfies (9/10*t1)>t2; and drying the coating film formed on the current collector to form an electrode active material layer.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】電極集電体に対する塗膜の追従性を向上させることで、不規則な間隔のクラックやシワの発生を抑制する、電極の製造方法を提供すること。
