To provide a resin-encapsulated electrical part that is easy to manufacture and assemble and capable of suppressing resin leakage.SOLUTION: The resin-encapsulated electrical part includes an electronic part 4, a case 2 having an opening 23 at the top for housing the electronic part 4, a resin 8 that is filled in the case 2, a plate-shaped body 5 provided with an extension part 62, one end of which is embedded in the resin 8 and the other end of which extends out of the case 2 over a side wall 22 of the case 2, and an elastic member 3 for preventing the resin from leaking through the underside of the extension part 62 to the outside of the case 2.
