Abstract | To provide a surface treatment agent capable of forming a surface treated layer excellent in abrasion durability.SOLUTION: A surface treatment agent includes: a fluoropolyether group-having silane compound; a fluoropolyether group-having organic compound; and a solvent, where the content of the fluoropolyether group-having silane compound is 0.02-50.0 mass%, the content of the fluoropolyether group-having organic compound is 0.1-95.0 mass%, and the content of the solvent is 1-99.88 mass% to a total amount of the fluoropolyether group-having silane, the fluoropolyether group-having organic compound, and the solvent, the fluoropolyether group-having silane compound is a fluoropolyether group-having silane compound represented by formula (1) or (2) where each denotation in the formulae has the same meaning as described in the specification, and the fluoropolyether group-containing organic compound has a boiling point of 105-210°C.SELECTED DRAWING: None
