Summary: | To provide a technique capable of grasping with sufficient accuracy the remaining life of a solar battery, even when the calculation accuracy of shunt resistance is insufficient.SOLUTION: A battery diagnosis method of the present invention discriminates a first period when shunt resistance drops with a first drop rate from a second period when it drops with a second drop rate larger than the first drop rate, and estimates the remaining life of a solar battery by calculating the time required for the deterioration state of the solar battery to reach a reference value from the second period or a period after the second period.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
