Abstract To provide a vibration control system capable of improving the damping force while preventing a damper from becoming large.SOLUTION: A vibration control system comprises: a brace device 1 provided in a structure plane 11 of a column-beam frame 3; and a damper 2 for adding damping force to deformation of the brace device 1 caused by deformation of the column-beam frame 3.
