To provide technology for controlling misidentification of a total price.SOLUTION: An item sales data processing system for registering items by means of a portable terminal operated by a customer of a store includes: registration means for registering the items secured by a customer, and display means for displaying a total price of the items registered by the registration means. The registering means registers the items whose prices are unknown as the items with no known price.
