Abstract To facilitate measurement work of radioactivity concentration (radioactivity strength) of a clearance object.SOLUTION: A clearance measuring device 1 includes: a profile measuring device 2 for measuring radioactivity strength of a clearance object by following a measurement surface; a control device 3 for controlling operation of the profile measuring device; and an evaluation device 4 for evaluating radioactivity concentration of the clearance object. The profile measuring device includes: at least one shape measuring device 12 for measuring a shape of the clearance object; a radiation detector 13 for detecting radiation strength of the clearance object; and a movement mechanism 14 for moving the radiation detector. The control device has a movement control part 20 for controlling operation of the movement mechanism. The movement control part moves the radiation detector following the measurement surface of the clearance object according to the shape of the clearance object measured by the shape measuring device.
