Abstract To provide a coil component having a core and a plate member adhering to each other firmly, moreover, having low magnetic resistance and good product characteristics.SOLUTION: A coil component 1 comprises a winding core 3, a core 2 having flanges 4 and 5 at both ends of the winding core, a plate member 6 stretching between the two flanges, and an adhesion part 7 between the flanges and the plate member. The adhesion part has resin and magnetic powder including a first particle with a diameter between 0.1 μm and 2.0 μm and a second particle with a diameter between 3.0 μm and 8.0 μm. A ratio of the first particles to the total magnetic particles is 0.11 to 0.80. A ratio of the second particles to the total magnetic particles is 0.19 to 0.89. A ratio of the first and the second particles to the total magnetic particles is 0.84 or more.
