Abstract To provide a metallic roof member restricting a crack in formation of a step part and improving design without changing a cross-sectional shape of the step part and a manufacturing method of the same.SOLUTION: A metallic roof member 1 according to the invention has a wave shape with continuous crest and trough, is installed so that an edge line of the crest and a recess line of the trough are parallel with an inclination direction of the roof in an installation state and has a step part 3 orthogonal to the edge line of the crest, meandering in continuous direction of the crest and the trough and arranged with higher top side and a lower bottom side in the installation side viewed from the above orthogonal to the edge line of the crest direction and a pitch of the meander of the step part 3 is same with the pitch of the wave of the wave shape.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】段差部の断面形状を変えることなく、段差部成形時の割れを抑制し、かつ、意匠性を向上する金属製屋根部材及びその製造方法を提供することを目的とする。【解決手段】本発明に係る金属製屋根部材1は、山と谷が連続する波形状を有し、前記山の稜線と谷の谷線方向が設置状態で屋根の傾斜方向に平行になるように設置されるものであって、前記山の稜線方向に直交する上方から見て、前記山の稜線に直交して山と谷の連続する方向に蛇行し、設置状態で上側が高く下側が低くなる段差部3を有し、段差部3の蛇行のピッチは、前記波形状の波のピッチと同じであることを特徴とするものである。【選択図】 図1
