Abstract | To provide a driving support device that can execute driving support control at an appropriate support level, depending on whether a driver visually recognizes a display object or not.SOLUTION: A vehicle driving support device comprises: a front side camera 32 and an image processing ECU 13 which detect a display object existing in front of a vehicle 100; and a driving support ECU 15 that, when the front-side camera 32 and the image processing ECU 13 detect the display object, executes driving support control of supporting a driver. The driving support ECU 15 increases a support level of the driving support control when the driver is not executing driving operation of bringing a travelling state of the vehicle 100 close to a state matching display contents of the display object in comparison with when the driver is executing the driving operation of bringing the travelling state of the vehicle 100 close to the state matching the display contents of the display object.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
