Abstract To provide a toner that can achieve both low-temperature fixability and heat-resistant storage property at a high level and has satisfactory toner adhesion force, humidity-resistant thermal storage property, and cleaning property.SOLUTION: A toner has resin fine particles on a surface of a toner base particle containing at least a binder resin, a colorant, and wax. When a volume average primary particle diameter of the resin fine particles is M(nm) and a distance between the resin fine particles adjacent to each other and present on the surface of the toner base particle is L(nm), following (formula 1) to (formula 3) are satisfied.
