To provide a knock-type writing utensil configured so that a rear portion of a rotator can be easily inserted into an inside of a knock member during assembling and the rotator is suppressed from coming off from the knock member after the assembling.SOLUTION: A knock-type writing utensil 1 comprises a knock member 30 formed into a cylindrical shape and, a rotator 40 which is arranged in front of the knock member 30 and which has an insertion part 41 configured to be inserted into the knock member 30.
