Abstract | To correctly perform charge control even when a current sensor is abnormal.SOLUTION: At the charging of a main battery 21 by power supplied from an external charger 100, a battery control device 70 executes charge control based on the detection current of a first current sensor 22. The battery control device 70 includes: an acquisition unit which, at the charging of the main battery 21 by the external charger 100, acquires an output current detected by the external charger 100, as output current information; a reliability determination unit which determines the reliability of the output current information; an abnormality determination unit which determines whether or not an abnormality has occurred in the first current sensor 22; and a charge control unit which, on determination that an abnormality has occurred in the first current sensor 22, executes charge control using output current information in place of the detection current of the first current sensor 22, on condition that the reliability determination unit determines that the output current information is reliable.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
