Abstract | To provide a building construction method that can suppress torsional vibration of the building before and after connection.SOLUTION: The building construction method is to construct a building by connecting a plurality of buildings 16A, 16B, 16C provided with seismic isolation layers 14A, 14B, 14C, including a step of arranging a vibration damping device 30 that suppresses the vibration of the building 14A before connection in the seismic isolation layer 14A, and a step of removing the vibration damping device 30 from the seismic isolation layer 14A or changing the arrangement of the vibration damping device 30 when the one building 14A and the other building 14B are connected.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
