Abstract | To start and stop a power supply device safely without increasing power consumption.SOLUTION: A power supply device according to one aspect of the present invention converts an AC voltage which is inputted from a commercial power source to a first DC voltage. The power supply device includes power factor improving means for improving a power factor of the AC voltage, conversion means for converting a second DC voltage which is outputted from the power factor improving means, to the first DC voltage, voltage detection means for detecting the AC voltage, control means for controlling start or stop of the power supply device on the basis of a detection value obtained by the voltage detection means, and a voltage correction capacitor that corrects the detection value obtained by the voltage detection means.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
