Abstract | To provide a rotary electric machine having a structure capable of reducing torque ripple.SOLUTION: A plurality of magnets include a pair of first magnets 41a, 41b extending in a direction away from each other in the circumferential direction from the inside to the outside in the radial direction, and a second magnet 42 that is arranged at the circumferential position between the pair of first magnets and extends in the direction orthogonal to the radial direction, and a rotor core includes a pair of first flux barriers arranged across the first magnet, a pair of second flux barriers arranged across the second magnet, and third flux barriers 53a and 53b arranged between the first flux barrier and the second flux barrier in the circumferential direction. In a certain state in which the circumferential center of the second magnet is located at the same circumferential position as the circumferential center of one tooth, the third flux barrier is located radially inside the other one tooth.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
