Abstract | To provide an optical transmission module capable of suppressing malfunctions due to an electromagnetic wave noise.SOLUTION: An optical transmission module 12 comprises a printed-circuit board 20 with a conductor pattern 22 including a ground pattern 220, an optical connector 30, a photoelectric conversion unit 40, and a shield member 50. The optical connector comprises a housing 31 including a fitting part 312 into which an external connector is fitted, and a terminal part 32 which is housed in the housing and to which the external connector is optically connected. The photoelectric conversion unit comprises a photoelectric conversion element 42 optically connected to the terminal part. The shield member is arranged so as to surround the terminal part and the photoelectric conversion unit. The shield member is electrically separated from the ground pattern. The printed-circuit board includes an island 223 electrically separated from the ground pattern as a conductor pattern in a position where it overlaps the fitting part in a plan view from a plate thickness direction of the printed-circuit board.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
