To provide a lighting device for a public facility which can calm people's emotions and suppress noise by using light.SOLUTION: A lighting device for a public facility 1 includes a light source unit 10 that irradiates a space in which ae person is, a light source control unit 20 that controls the color of light emitted from the light source unit 10, and a detection unit 30 that detects the voice of the person.
