Summary:To provide a remote assistance provider with appropriate information that enables safe passage through a driving site by utilizing past accident data.SOLUTION: When an autonomous vehicle (a vehicle 10) becomes difficult to continue autonomous driving due to various obstacles, a driving assistance control device receives driving support information from a remote driving support center (a driving support control unit 12) to continue autonomous driving, in particular, receives a location of the obstacles and the forward image from the vehicle 10, presents driving support supplementary information based on examples of past accident patterns (big data) stored in an accident pattern database 156, and transmits the driving support information to the vehicle 10 with further appropriate fine-tuning by an operator, if necessary. This allows for providing a remote assistance provider with appropriate information that enables safe passage through a driving site by utilizing past accident data.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】遠隔支援する側に対して、過去の事故データを活用して、走行現場を安全に通過し得る適正情報を提供する。【解決手段】自動運転車両(車両10)が、様々な障害によって自動運転が継続困難となった場合に、遠隔の運転支援センタ(運転支援制御装置12)から運転支援情報を受けて自動運転を継続させるものであり、特に、障害発生位置、走行前方画像を車両10から受け取ると共に、事故パターンデータベース156に格納された過去の事故パターン例(ビッグデータ)に基づき、運転支援補助情報を提示し、かつ、必要に応じて、オペレータによってさらに適切な微調整を行った運転支援情報を、車両10へ送信するようにした。これにより、遠隔支援する側に対して、過去の事故データを活用して、走行現場を安全に通過し得る適正情報を提供することができる。【選択図】図2
