Abstract To provide a light source device for fiber optic gyroscope capable of improving the long-term stability of scale factor.SOLUTION: A light source device for fiber optic gyroscope comprises a wideband laser light source 10, a spectrum analyzer 20, and a feedback control section 30. The wideband laser light source 10 emits a laser beam having a wideband spectrum and low coherence. The spectrum analyzer 20 measures a weighted average wavelength weighted average at a relative amplitude of the laser beam of the wideband laser light source 10.
