Summary:To provide a PM filter regeneration system capable of suppressing excessive combustion of PMs in a PM filter and appropriately preventing damage and deterioration of the PM filter due to heat.SOLUTION: A PM filter regeneration system includes: a PM filter 2 collecting PMs (particulate matters); a heating section 4 heating gas caused to flow into the PM filter 2 to heat the PM filter 2; a detection section 5 detecting a carbon dioxide concentration in a gas caused to flow out from the PM filter 2; and a controller 6 controlling a heating state of the PM filter 2. PMs collected by the PM filter 2 are burned by heating the PM filter 2 to remove the PMs from the PM filter 2, so as to regenerate the PM filter 2. On the basis of the change amount of the carbon dioxide concentration, presence/absence of excessive combustion of the PMs is determined, and when occurrence of the excessive combustion of the PMs is determined, heating of the PM filter 2 is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】PMフィルタ内におけるPMの過燃焼を抑制し、PMフィルタの熱による損傷および劣化を適切に防止することが可能なPMフィルタ再生システムを提供する。【解決手段】PM(粒子状物質)を捕集するPMフィルタ2と、PMフィルタ2に流入させる気体を加熱してPMフィルタ2を加熱する加熱部4と、PMフィルタ2から流出する気体中の二酸化炭素濃度を検出する検出部5と、PMフィルタ2の加熱状態を制御するコントローラ6とを備え、PMフィルタ2を加熱してPMフィルタ2に捕集されたPMを燃焼させることにより、PMフィルタ2からPMを除去してPMフィルタ2を再生させるPMフィルタ再生システムにおいて、前記二酸化炭素濃度の変化量に基づいてPMの過燃焼の有無を判定し、PMの過燃焼が生じていることを判定した場合に、PMフィルタ2の加熱を抑制する。【選択図】図3
