To provide a PM filter regeneration system capable of suppressing excessive combustion of PMs in a PM filter and appropriately preventing damage and deterioration of the PM filter due to heat.SOLUTION: A PM filter regeneration system includes: a PM filter 2 collecting PMs (particulate matters); a heating section 4 heating gas caused to flow into the PM filter 2 to heat the PM filter 2; a detection section 5 detecting a carbon dioxide concentration in a gas caused to flow out from the PM filter 2; and a controller 6 controlling a heating state of the PM filter 2. PMs collected by the PM filter 2 are burned by heating the PM filter 2 to remove the PMs from the PM filter 2, so as to regenerate the PM filter 2. On the basis of the change amount of the carbon dioxide concentration, presence/absence of excessive combustion of the PMs is determined, and when occurrence of the excessive combustion of the PMs is determined, heating of the PM filter 2 is suppressed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 【課題】ＰＭフィルタ内におけるＰＭの過燃焼を抑制し、ＰＭフィルタの熱による損傷および劣化を適切に防止することが可能なＰＭフィルタ再生システムを提供する。【解決手段】ＰＭ（粒子状物質）を捕集するＰＭフィルタ２と、ＰＭフィルタ２に流入させる気体を加熱してＰＭフィルタ２を加熱する加熱部４と、ＰＭフィルタ２から流出する気体中の二酸化炭素濃度を検出する検出部５と、ＰＭフィルタ２の加熱状態を制御するコントローラ６とを備え、ＰＭフィルタ２を加熱してＰＭフィルタ２に捕集されたＰＭを燃焼させることにより、ＰＭフィルタ２からＰＭを除去してＰＭフィルタ２を再生させるＰＭフィルタ再生システムにおいて、前記二酸化炭素濃度の変化量に基づいてＰＭの過燃焼の有無を判定し、ＰＭの過燃焼が生じていることを判定した場合に、ＰＭフィルタ２の加熱を抑制する。【選択図】図３
