To provide an apparatus for cleaning a seedling raising member, the apparatus having a smaller floor area than a conventional apparatus for cleaning a seedling raising member.SOLUTION: An apparatus comprises: a stock area A1, a cleaning area A2, and an elevating device 2, the stock area A1 including means for vertical posture maintenance to keep a plurality of seedling raising members in a vertical posture and keep projection surfaces of front and back surfaces of the adjacent seedling raising members in an overlapping state; and a pressing device 11 that advances the seedling raising member in a direction facing the front and back while maintaining the vertical posture and sends the seedling raising member out. An injection nozzle 50 is arranged in the cleaning area A2.
