Abstract | To provide an endoscope apparatus that comprises an object lens with a minute outside diameter and a minute thickness, appropriate for attachment to the tip of an ultrafine image guide fiber.SOLUTION: In an endoscope apparatus 1, an optical image of an imaging object, which is acquired by an object lens 5, is extracted via an image guide fiber 6 that is constituted by bundling a plurality of optical fibers together. A graded index-type optical fiber with a prescribed length, which is fusion-welded to an incident-side end surface 61 of the image guide fiber 6, is used as the object lens 5.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
