To provide a rail head reprofiling device capable of reprofiling a rail head with high accuracy.SOLUTION: A head of a rail 20 is corrected with a grindstone 70 by traveling a drive carriage 30 and a driven carriage 60 on the rail 20, with the grindstone 70 provided on the driven carriage 60 and rotated to be brought into contact with the head of the rail 20. The driven carriage 60 comprises: a shaft case 80 that rotatably supports the grindstone 70; a tilting mechanism that supports the shaft case 80 on the driven carriage 60 in such a manner that the grindstone 70 and a rotating shaft 73 can tilt in the longitudinal direction of the driven carriage 60. The driven carriage 60 further includes: a pressing cylinder 90 that presses the cutting surface of the grindstone 70 against the head of the rail 20; and pressing cylinders 91, 92 that press the shaft case 80 in such a manner that the rotating shaft 73 is tilted forward in the traveling direction of the driven carriage 60.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】レール頭部を高精度で削正することのできるレール頭部削正装置を提供する。【解決手段】駆動台車３０および主軸台車６０をレール２０上において走行させるとともに、主軸台車６０に設けられた砥石７０を回転させつつレール２０の頭部に接触させることにより、砥石７０によるレール２０の頭部の削正を行う。主軸台車６０は、砥石７０を回転可能に支持する軸ケース８０と、砥石７０および回転軸７３が主軸台車６０の前後方向に傾動可能な態様で軸ケース８０を主軸台車６０に支持する傾動機構と、を有する。主軸台車６０は、砥石７０の切削面をレール２０の頭部に押し付ける押付シリンダ９０と、回転軸７３を主軸台車６０の進行方向前側に傾動させる態様で軸ケース８０を押圧する押圧シリンダ９１，９２と、を有する。【選択図】図２
