Abstract | To provide an air supply system capable of supplying an ample volume of air even in the case of an air usage volume being large.SOLUTION: An air supply system includes: a main tank; an air compressor driven in any of plural drive modes that includes a first drive mode in which to supply the main tank with air at a first supply speed, and a second drive mode in which to supply the main tank with air at a second supply speed being higher than the first supply speed; and a control part for causing the air compressor to start an air supply in the first drive mode in the case of recognizing that tank pressure being the pressure of the main tank has decreased to a first pressure value, and switching drive modes to the second drive mode from the first drive mode in the case of recognizing that the tank pressure has decreased to a second pressure value being smaller than the first pressure value while the air compressor supplies air in the first drive mode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
