To provide a rail unit that can reliably arrange an arm member on a frame even if the size of a bathtub is changed, and provide a bathing assistance system with the same.SOLUTION: The bathing assistance system includes: a rail unit 5 configured so as to be arranged in a bathtub 3 including a frame having a first frame part 31 and a second frame part 32 being oppositely arranged, and slidably support a chair unit in a first direction perpendicular to the first frame part and the second frame part; a containment unit for containing the rail unit; and a pivoting mechanism 6 for making the rail unit pivot around a pivot shaft extending in the first direction to the containment unit, between a containing state of containing the rail unit in the containment unit and an installed state of arranging the rail unit in the frame of the bathtub.
