Abstract To provide a jig etc. for a coil spring which can apply residual stress to an inner peripheral surface of a coil spring while preventing bowing of the coil spring.SOLUTION: A jig (10) for a coil spring includes: a spring support part (13) on which one end of a coil spring (Sp) may be placed; displacement restriction parts (14) which extend from the spring support part (13) along an axis (CL), may contact with an outer peripheral surface of the coil spring (Sp), and restrict displacement of the coil spring (Sp) in a radial direction; and a lid part (15) which is supported by the displacement restriction parts (14) and sandwiches the coil spring (Sp) with the spring support part (13) to keep the coil spring (Sp) in a compressed state.
