Summary:To provide a technique in which a performance mode during read-ahead can be changed.SOLUTION: A performance control unit 210 accepts the change of a performance mode when a change operation of the performance mode during variation display of a special symbol is detected (Fig. 69), and continues a read-ahead performance during execution while discarding all the read-ahead information when receiving a performance command when the number of operation memories decreases (Fig. 65). When a read-ahead performance discard message is set at the start of the next variation (S924), the read-ahead performance excluding a winning notification lamp 60 is all canceled by operations of a liquid crystal display, a speaker and a lamp being controlled according to the message by each individual control unit 220, 222, 224. The performance control unit 210 constructs a background image according to the performance mode of the change destination at the start of the next variation (S926). With such a configuration, the performance mode during the read-ahead performance can be changed. Since the read-ahead performance by the winning notification lamp 60 is continued, it is possible for a player to enjoy the game without giving the player a sense of distrust.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 68 【課題】先読み中の演出モードの変更を可能とする技術の提供。【解決手段】演出制御部210は、特別図柄の変動表示中に演出モードの変更操作を検出すると演出モードの変更を受け付け(図69)、作動記憶数減少時演出コマンドの受信時に先読み情報を全て破棄しつつ実行中の先読み演出を継続する(図65)。次変動の開始時に先読み演出破棄メッセージを設定すると(S924)、各個別制御部220,222,224により液晶表示器、スピーカやランプの動作がメッセージに応じて制御されることで、当り告知ランプ60を除く先読み演出が全て中止される。また、演出制御部210は、次変動の開始時に変更先の演出モードに応じた背景画像を構築する(S926)。このような構成により先読み中における演出モードの変更が可能となる。また、当り告知ランプ60による先読み演出は継続されるため、遊技者に不信感を与えることなく遊技を楽しませることができる。【選択図】図68
