Abstract To provide an image formation device capable of preventing occurrence of jamming of a paper sheet caused by erroneous determination of a paper kind.SOLUTION: A printing condition suitability determination part 106, in requesting printing of an image, determines whether or not a printing condition determined by a user is suited for conveyance of an envelope. A paper processing decision part 107, when the printing condition determined by the user is not suited for conveyance of the envelope, does not cause a printing part to perform processing for the envelope regardless of a detection result of an ultrasonic sensor 117.
