Abstract To provide a portable device position estimation system capable of improving the position estimation accuracy of a portable device communicating with an on-vehicle device.SOLUTION: An electronic key position estimation system 10 corrects the influence of the magnetic field generated in a structure of a vehicle 11 by the radio wave from the LF antenna 181 on the received signal strength. Specifically, RSSI value is corrected using the maximum difference having the largest value among the differences between the first reception strength and the second reception strength. Thus, in consideration of the influence of the magnetic field on the received signal strength, a position estimation unit can estimate the position where the electron key 200 exists.
