To allow only an authorized person to configure network settings on an electronic device easily through radio communication.SOLUTION: A setting apparatus 1A which configures network settings on an electronic device 2A includes a touch panel 10, a communication apparatus 20, and a processing apparatus 40 as follows. Information is input to the touch panel 10 in accordance with operation of a user. The communication apparatus 20 communicates with a radio communication tag 3A with stored authentication information to be used for authentication in network setting of the electronic device 2A, which is arranged in the electronic device 2A. The processing apparatus 40 acquires the authentication information received by the communication apparatus 20, determines whether the acquired authentication information coincides with authentication information input to the touch panel 10, and transmits, when they are coincident with each other, setting information input to the touch panel 10 as information indicating network settings to the radio communication tag 3A to be stored.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 【課題】権限を有する者のみが無線通信により容易に電子機器のネットワーク設定を行えるようにする。【解決手段】電子機器２Ａのネットワーク設定を行う設定装置１Ａに、以下のタッチパネル１０と、通信装置２０と、処理装置４０と、設ける。タッチパネル１０には、利用者の操作に応じて情報が入力される。通信装置２０は、電子機器２Ａのネットワーク設定を行う際の認証に使用される認証情報を記憶済で電子機器２Ａに設けられた無線通信タグ３Ａと通信する。処理装置４０は、通信装置２０により受信された認証情報を取得し、取得した認証情報とタッチパネル１０に入力された認証情報とが一致するか否かを判定し、両者が一致すると判定された場合に、ネットワーク設定を示す情報としてタッチパネル１０に入力された設定情報を無線通信タグ３Ａに送信して記憶させる。【選択図】図２
