Abstract | To improve reliability of a Rankine cycle device which includes a bypass path and a flow rate regulator.SOLUTION: A Rankine cycle device 50 includes an expander 3, a bypass path 16 for bypassing the expander 3, a flow rate regulator 5 provided in the bypass path 16, and a control device 20 for controlling the flow rate regulator 5. In the case where a deviation acquired by subtracting a pressure difference between an inlet pressure of the expander 3 and an outlet pressure of the expander 3 from a target value is equal to or greater than a threshold value for predetermined time, or in the case where a deviation acquired by subtracting the inlet pressure of the expander 3 from a target value is equal to or greater than a threshold value for predetermined time, the control device 20 executes at least one processing selected from a group comprising processing for allowing the flow rate regulator 5 to perform an opening operation and processing for allowing the flow rate regulator 5 to perform a closing operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
