Abstract To provide a structure for a power converter, in which a power module accommodating a power conversion switching element is in contact with a cooler, such that the power module can be effectively cooled.SOLUTION: A power converter 2 is equipped with coolers 31, 32 that are in contact with a power module 10. A layered product of the power module 10 and the coolers 31, 32 is accommodated in a case 50. A surface, of the first cooler 31, opposite to the power module 10 side is in contact with the case 50, and further, an output bus bar 46 connected with a mid-point terminal 13 is contact with the case 50.
