Abstract | To secure a space for arranging a control board in a control board built-in type electric compressor.SOLUTION: An electric compressor 1 includes: a compression mechanism 20; an electric motor 70 for driving the compression mechanism 20; a control board 80 for controlling operation of the electric motor 70; a sealed terminal 100 for electrically connecting the electric motor 70 to the control board 80; and a housing 10 for accommodating the compression mechanism 20, the electric motor 70 and the control board 80 therein. The housing 10 includes: a first housing 14 for accommodating the electric motor 70 therein; and a second housing 16 fixed to the first housing 14 with a fastener and accommodating the control board 80 and the sealed terminal 100. The sealed terminal 100 is fastened to the second housing 16 by one or more fastener 107.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
