Abstract | To provide an engine capable of keeping high accuracy of a pulse signal to detect an engine rotating speed and a crank angle.SOLUTION: A pulsar plate 7 is disposed in a transmission device cover 3a for housing a transmission device 3, and includes a fixture 9 for fixing the pulsar plate 7 to a rotating shaft 6, and a disc spring 10 held between the fixture 9 and the pulsar plate 7. The pulsar plate 7 is constituted to be pressed and fixed by elastic restoration force of the disc spring 10. A damper space 10a is formed between the disc spring 10 and the pulsar plate 7, and an engine oil 5 and air are moved between the inside of the transmission device cover 3a and the damper space 10a through a clearance formed on a pressure contact part of the disc spring 10 and the pulsar plate 7 by expansion/contraction of the disc spring 10 by vibration of the pulsar plate 7 in a longitudinal direction of the rotating shaft 6.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
