Abstract To provide an imaging apparatus which is an imaging apparatus including a bending optical system and includes a vibration-proof mechanism, without increasing the size of the apparatus.SOLUTION: An optical system including a reflection member for bending an optical axis includes the reflection member, an imaging lens group, and an imaging element in order from an object side. An image blur around an axis perpendicular to a plane formed by a first optical axis (O1) and a second optical axis (O2) is corrected by the rotation of the reflection member.
