Abstract To provide a lens device capable of calculating a defocus conversion factor without increasing the storage capacity and calculation time.SOLUTION: A lens device (100) attachable to/detachable from an imaging apparatus (120), includes: an imaging optical system that has a transmittance distribution layer (105) rotationally symmetric with respect to the optical axis; storage means (118) that stores aperture information of the imaging optical system; and communication means (117) that transmits the aperture information to the imaging apparatus.
