Abstract | To provide a method for manufacturing a gas diffusion layer integrated gasket in which no gap remains between a gasket mounting member and a gas diffusion layer, so that it is possible to prevent an electrolyte membrane from entering the gap and thus being damaged.SOLUTION: As a step, first, a gasket mounting member 51 and a gas diffusion layer 41A in a fuel battery cell are arranged on the same plane with a gap c being set between them. Next, a screen mask 82 including a printing portion 82a for forming a gasket main body 61 and a printing portion 82b for forming a gap filling member 71 which fills the gap c and integrates the gasket mounting member 51 and the gas diffusion layer 41A is covered on the plane of the gasket mounting member 51, a molding material G for forming the gasket main body 61 is coated, the molding material G for forming the gap filling member 71 is filled, and the molding material G is solidified.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
