Abstract To provide a method for manufacturing a gas diffusion layer integrated gasket in which no gap remains between a gasket mounting member and a gas diffusion layer, so that it is possible to prevent an electrolyte membrane from entering the gap and thus being damaged.SOLUTION: As a step, first, a gasket mounting member 51 and a gas diffusion layer 41A in a fuel battery cell are arranged on the same plane with a gap c being set between them.
