To provide a method for forming a coat layer on a surface of a decorative member for exterior which is degraded by scratches in construction, lapse of years after construction or environmental conditions, and thereby repairing defects on the surface of the decorative member, and reproducing or extending the life of the decorative member.SOLUTION: In a method for repairing a surface of a decorative member 20 obtained by sticking a decorative sheet 10 to an arbitrary base material 12, the target decorative sheet 10 is a laminate which has a pattern layer 2 and a transparent thermoplastic resin layer 4 on a colored thermoplastic resin sheet base material 1 and a surface protective layer 5 provided on the surface of the transparent thermoplastic resin layer 4 as the outermost layer. The surface protective layer 5 contains a fluorine resin-based resin composition. In the repair, the surface of the decorative sheet is polished by a polishing material, and then a repair undercoat layer 7 and a repair overcoat layer 8 are provided in this order. The repair undercoat layer contains an acrylic modified polyolefin resin.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】施工時の傷や、施工してから年月が経ち、あるいは環境条件によって劣化した外装用化粧部材の表面にコート層を形成することで、化粧部材表面の欠陥を補修し、化粧部材を再生または延命する方法を提供することである。【解決手段】任意の基材１２に化粧シート１０を貼り合わせた化粧部材２０の表面の補修方法であって、対象とする化粧シート１０は、着色熱可塑性樹脂シート基材１上に、絵柄層２と透明熱可塑性樹脂層４を有し、透明熱可塑性樹脂層４の表面には、表面保護層５を設けて最外層とした積層体であって、表面保護層５はふっ素樹脂系の樹脂組成物を含み、補修は、化粧シート表面を研磨材によって研磨した後、補修下塗り層７、および補修上塗り層８をこの順で設けるものであり、補修下塗り層には、アクリル変性ポリオレフィン樹脂を含むことを特徴とする化粧部材表面の補修方法である。【選択図】図１
