Summary:To provide a static capacitance measurement device for a power source capacitor and method which can be suppressed in a decrease in reliability and allow for suppression of error of measurement of static capacitance for a power supply capacitor.SOLUTION: A static capacitance measurement device for a power source capacitor comprises a charge circuit which is constituted of a power source capacitor 16, a direct-current power source 500 charging the power source capacitor 16, and a charge switch 501 switching a connection between the direct-current power source 500 and the power source capacitor 16. The Current sensors 504, 505 detecting the charge current of the power source capacitor 16 are provided in the charge circuit. The static capacitance measurement device further comprises a storage and comparison unit which measures static capacitance of the power source capacitor 16 by using a first time T1 required until a first current value I1 is detected by the current sensor 504 after charging of the power source capacitor 16 is begun, a second time T2 required until a second current value I2 is detected by the current sensor 505 after charging of the power source capacitor 16 is begun, and a time difference between the first time T1 and the second time T2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4 【課題】信頼性の低下を抑制し、電源コンデンサの静電容量測定誤差を抑制することができる電源コンデンサ静電容量測定装置及び方法を提供する。【解決手段】電源コンデンサ16と、電源コンデンサ16を充電する直流電源500と、直流電源500と電源コンデンサ16との接続をオンオフする充電スイッチ501とにより充電回路が構成される。充電回路には電源コンデンサ16の充電電流を検出する電流センサ504,505が備えられる。電源コンデンサ16に充電が開始され、電流センサ504が第1電流値I1を検出するまでに要した第1時間T1と、電源コンデンサ16に充電が開始され、電流センサ505が第2電流値I2を検出するまでに要した第2時間T2と、第1時間T1と第2時間T2との時間差から電源コンデンサ16の静電容量を測定する。【選択図】 図4
