Abstract To provide an inspection method capable of inspecting whether or not impurity gas such as air is present in a circulation flow passage.SOLUTION: An inspection method is used for inspecting whether or not impurity gas is present in a circulation flow passage 17 of a working medium in a heat recovery device 10 using a Rankine cycle of the working medium. The inspection method includes: a measurement process of measuring a concentration of impurity gas in the circulation flow passage 17 by opening an on-off valve V1 provided in a vaporization region 20 where a vaporized working medium is present of the circulation flow passage 17 after stopping the heat recovery device 10; and a determination process of determining whether or not impurity gas is present in the circulation flow passage 17 based on whether or not the measured impurity gas concentration reaches a first reference value K1 or smaller within a predetermined time.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 7 【課題】循環流路に空気などの不純ガスが存在しているか否かを検査することができる検査方法を提供することである。【解決手段】検査方法は、作動媒体のランキンサイクルを利用した熱回収装置10について、作動媒体の循環流路17内に不純ガスが存在しているか否かを検査するものである。検査方法は、熱回収装置10を停止した後、循環流路17のうち気化した作動媒体が存在する気化領域20に設けられた開閉弁V1を開放し、循環流路17内の不純ガス濃度を計測する計測工程と、計測された不純ガス濃度が所定時間内に第1基準値K1以下になるか否かに基づいて、循環流路17内に不純ガスが存在しているか否かを判断する判断工程と、を備える。【選択図】図7
