To provide an insertion plate fixation device and an insertion plate fixing method that allow an insertion plate and an insertion plate fixation tool to be easily attached and detached with respect to a load carrying platform of a truck.SOLUTION: An insertion plate fixation device set A includes a fixation body A1 as an example of a first insertion plate fixation body, a fixation body A2 as an example of a second insertion plate fixation body, and a fixation body A3 as an example of a third insertion plate fixation body. When attaching to a side plate T1, one insertion plate P is fixed by the fixation body A1 and the fixation body A3, and another insertion plate P' is fixed by the fixation body A2 and the fixation body A3.
