To provide the frame body of an image forming device with which it is possible to suppress two metal plates constituting the frame body from being assembled in an incorrect physical relationship.SOLUTION: Provided is a frame body, comprising: a stepped bending part 313 provided to a bent part 52b and engaging with a bent part 53b by being inserted; a protruding part 301a provided to the bent part 53b and engaging with the bent part 52b by being inserted, at a position closer to a support part 53a than the stepped bending part and adjacent to the stepped bending part in a direction orthogonal to the direction of insertion into the bent part 52b and the thickness direction of the bent part 53b; and a protruding part 301b provided to the bent part 53b and engaging with the bent part 52b by being inserted, at a position farther from the support part 53a than the stepped bending part and adjacent to the stepped bending part in a direction orthogonal to the direction of insertion into the bent part 52b and the thickness direction of the bent part 53b.
