Abstract To provide a container inspection device capable of accurately determining quality of a container with a relatively simple configuration.SOLUTION: A container inspection device includes: container transport means 2 for transporting containers; container positioning means 72 arranged corresponding to a container inspection area 36; and container lifting means 48 for lifting upward a container Y located at a lifting position. A lifting member 52 of the container lifting means 48 is moved from a reference position below the container Y to an inspection position above the container transport means 2 through a container bottom position contacting the bottom surface of the container Y. The lifting member 52 (pushing portion 92) is moved by first ascent speed control from the reference position to the container bottom position, and is moved by second ascent speed control from the container bottom position to the inspection position, where second ascent speed in the second ascent speed control is larger than first ascent speed in the first ascent speed control.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 【課題】比較的簡単な構成でもって容器の良否を正確に判定することができる容器検査装置を提供する。【解決手段】容器を搬送するための容器搬送手段2と、容器検査域36に対応して配設された容器位置決め手段72と、押上げ位置に位置する容器Yを上方に押し上げるための容器押上げ手段48とを具備する容器検査装置。容器押上げ手段48の押上げ部材52は、容器Yの下方の基準位置からこの容器Yの底面に接触する容器底位置を通して容器搬送手段2の上方の検査位置まで移動され、この押上げ部材52(押上部92)は、基準位置から容器底位置までの間は第1上昇速度制御でもって移動され、容器底位置から検査位置までの間は第2上昇速度制御でもって移動され、第2上昇速度制御における第2立上り速度は、第1上昇速度制御における第1立上り速度よりも大きい。【選択図】図1
